Kane, the Big Red Monster, the Devil's Favourite Demon, everyone's second favourite Brother of Destruction. If there is a list being written about longevity or similar such things, the former dentist tends to be found somewhere near the top. It isn't surprising in the slightest then to know that Kane has had more tag team championship partners than anyone else in WWE history.

And what a bizarre list of names it is. We all know of his dalliances with his brother (wow that sounds bad) and every six months or so he seems to be alongside Big Show, but younger fans probably don't know that Kane had two tag team title runs with X-Pac of all people.

He also won the gold with Rob Van Dam, although that whole partnership led to him losing his mask. Kane has also been a champion with Mankind, The Hurricane (!) and Daniel Bryan.

Is there enough time left on the clock for Kane to add an eighth partner to this list? Well, I doubt it. His precarious mental state has made his betraying of his partners fairly predictable, but at least he gets some success out of them first.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
