10 WWE Stars Who Were Worthless Intercontinental Champions

1. Dean Douglas

Now all those other champions might not be so memorable, and a lot of you are probably thinking that Mountie€™s two day championship reign is about as bad as it gets. Yet one title reign, if you can even call it a reign, which a lot of people tend to forget, is the one that Dean Douglas had back in October of 1995. It€™s very easy to forget about because it not only lasted for less than two days, but it didn€™t even last one day. It didn€™t even last an hour! Dena Douglas, with a championship reign of eleven minutes, holds the record as the shortest reigning Intercontinental Champion in WWE history. Dean Douglas, better known as Shane Douglas of ECW fame, first won the IC via forfeit when Shawn Michaels was legitimately injured by U.S. Marines at a bar in Syracuse, New York. Instead of having even one day to enjoy his title, Douglas had to immediately defend his title against Razor Ramon. Razor defeated Douglas and went on to have a three month title reign. Meanwhile, Douglas would leave WWE two months later to return to ECW. As great a wrestler as he was, Dean Douglas was by far the epitome of a worthless IC champion.
