10 WWE Stars You Never Knew Were Announcers

6. Dr. Tom Prichard On Metal

Bruce's wrestling brother was primarily a trainer when he started doing commentary on Metal, the "daytime"/more family friendly version of the WWF's syndicated B-show that replaced Shotgun Challenge. He was paired with Kevin Kelly, who was generally used as a backstage interviewer who The Rock would call a hermaphrodite (that sure wouldn't fly today) on the main shows at the time.

Prichard was actually very good, which wasn't surprising since he had experience as an announcer in various territories he worked in earlier in his career. It was different from his past work in that he wasn't doing a Roddy Piper impression the whole time, though. He just flew way under the radar, to the point that if you didn't watch Metal, you probably had no idea he was still part of the company.

After going to rehab in 2001, he never appeared on WWE programming again, though he had several more stints as a trainer in various developmental territories.
