10 WWE Stipulations That Only Had One Good Match

2. Buried Alive Match (Mankind Vs. The Undertaker - In Your House 11)

Only one of the five 'Buried Alive' gimmick matches put on by WWE is truly essential.

There's perhaps an argument that The Undertaker's showdown with Vince McMahon at Survivor Series 2003 deserves more credit, but the novelty of Vinnie Mac working slow-paced brawls was beginning to become old hat by that point. By comparison, Mankind vs. 'Taker at In Your House 11 was sensational in terms of execution.

Even more impressively, the pair didn't have any blueprint to work with. They had to create the drama for this new spin-off 'Deadman' stipulation all on their own, and they whisked fans in Indianapolis into a frenzy by teasing that The Undertaker might finally be reborn as something totally fresh upon his return.

Other dirt-throwing matches against Steve Austin, the Rock N' Sock Connection and Kane failed to carry as much weight as the first. If WWE ever revive this one, which they sorta' did for 'Mania 36's 'Boneyard' brilliance, then they should force those working it to relive IYH 11.
