What did The Undertaker get out of being Vince McMahon's proxy at WrestleMania? Absolutely nothing. There was never any doubt that Undertaker was going to fight his hardest against Shane McMahon in Hell in a Cell - Undertaker's honor would see to that - but Vince offered him no special incentive.

On the contrary, Vince McMahon made things as difficult as he possibly could for the man who was defending his control of the company. Vince added a stipulation to the bout stating that if 'Taker lost, he would never compete at WrestleMania again, and on one episode of Raw, McMahon referred to Undertaker as "[his] bitch."

Undertaker grabbed Vince by the throat to scare him straight, but that was it. He inflicted a beating on Shane in the course of their match, but as there was no real bad blood between the men, fans were hoping to see Undertaker get the man responsible for it all. Instead, 'Taker's first appearance after WrestleMania came on Smackdown in November.
