8. Money In The Bank Winner Cashes In

Remember the days when you used to genuinely lose your sh*t when the opportunistic Money In The Bank Briefcase holder would run down to the ring to cash in on their world title shot?

Yeah, it's been a while.

Through a mixture of putrid booking and undesirable choices of winner, the recent Money In The Bank Ladder Matches have underwhelmed in terms of follow up from an always stellar car crash on the night.

Take your pick from the god awful Baron Corbin run that ended in a calamitous failed cash in - thanks in part to John Cena interference and Corbin's poor attitude backstage - or Braun Strowman's career killing, briefcase inspired feud with Roman Reigns which incited a Shield Vs Dogs of War skirmish at Hell in a Cell 2018.

The fact that one of the most creatively enticing elements of the briefcase holder has been overlooked for years - prolonging the cash-in to add an element of potential shock to any given night or PPV - has devalued the winner, as many fans now expect the holder to cash in on the same night they won it. Kane, Dean Ambrose, Alexa Bliss and Bayley have all cashed in on the same night - rendering four potentially character defining runs obsolete.

Give us more Seth Rollins, CM Punk and even Carmella moments. You've got a year long ace in the pack, WWE. Use it!
