9. The Undisputed Era Runs Roughshod
Some may quite justifiably claim that many NXT stars are best served by staying with the yellow-and-black brand rather than making the jump to Raw or SmackDown, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that the ultimate endgame for many a performer is to end up starring on one of the WWE’s main shows.
So many NXT stars are already primed and ready to grab the bull by the horns on Raw or SmackDown, yet nobody is quite as ready as The Undisputed Era.
Led by the charismatic Adam Cole (bay,bay!), The Undisputed could be the perfect tonic to WWE’s dwindling ratings and buys. It’s no secret that Raw and SmackDown are hitting record low after record low, and one great way to freshen up the stagnating main roster product would be to have Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong turn up and begin causing chaos on Monday and Tuesday nights.
After all, the last time a group made up of development guys looked to shake up the main roster, it worked out pretty well. That previous group, of course, being The Shield.
