8. Drew McIntyre’s Quest For Gold

Brock Lesnar Becky Lynch

Much like Becky Lynch is desperately in need of an opponent not named Lacey Evans, Seth Rollins desperately needs to move on from his overdone rivalry with Baron Corbin.

Of course, the Rollins and Corbin pairing will face off at least one more time, Rollins set to team with The Man against Corbin and Evans at the upcoming Extreme Rules PPV. Once that match is in the record books, Seth is majorly in need of a fresh heel to go up against. And that, dear readers, is where Drew McIntyre should step up to the plate.

Upon re-debuting on the main roster, McIntyre was initially made to look dominant on a weekly basis. Right now? Let’s just say that being Shane McMahon’s muscle and constantly losing to Roman Reigns isn’t working out all that well for the Scottish Psychopath.

McIntyre’s relationship with Shane isn’t the issue, per se; it’s more a case of the former Intercontinental Champion having lost momentum by taking too many losses lately. Now’s the time to start heating McIntyre up again by putting some big wins on the board ahead of the Scot going after Seth Rollins and the Universal Championship in the latter part of 2019.
