10. The Blue Meanie Targets JBL

The Blue Meanie didn't give a Twinkie about WWE's decision to exploit his real-life pain, because his beef with JBL led to another unlikely chance with the company years after his last in 1999.

Having been drafted in for ECW's reprise under the McMahon banner, Meanie probably wasn't expecting to get the living crap kicked out of him by JBL during a wild brawl at One Night Stand 2005, and he wouldn't have put money on a subsequent bWo run either. Both happened, but the vicious beating from Layfield left his face bloodied and bruised.

After Meanie threatened legal action against his attacker, WWE offered a short-term deal that would turn the fight into an angle. Likely knowing it'd be wise to make some money from the situation, Meanie accepted and reformed his old nWo sendup with Stevie Richards and Nova.

Meanie would then win his No DQ match against JBL (thanks to interference from Richards and Batista) on the 7 July 2005 SmackDown. Shortly thereafter, he was released following a six-man tag at The Great American Bash pay-per-view.
