Backstage politics made their way into the ring when HHH said that hed used Michaels to get to the top, just like the former Rocker had used him to stay there throughout the mid 90s and the early stages of The Attitude Era. Then we had the assault where Hunter put Shawns head through a car window, going on to deny doing it before being framed by CCTV. Cue one of the most devilish smirks ever seen on WWE TV. The match the pair put on was nothing short of spectacular. We knew Triple H would deliver as he was at his arguable peak in the summer of 2002.
