10 WWE SummerSlam 2020 Nightmares That Could Come True

A parallel universe that makes history for all the wrong reasons...

Weirdest. SummerSlam. Ever.

That's what this Sunday's pay-per-view is going to be regardless of what happens. WWE probably thought they'd be able to cram as many fans as they could into Boston's TD Garden, but they'll be playing before an expansive-yet-empty Amway Center in Orlando instead. Still, that's better than the now-tired Performance Center that's been sucking the life out of broadcasts for months now.

SummerSlam, which is traditionally one of the biggest events on the calendar, will unavoidably feel similar to April's WrestleMania 36; atmosphere will be hard to come by, and WWE will have to use every trick, bell and whistle they know to make it look special on camera. Then, there's the actual card itself. That could easily turn into a series of mini-nightmares if the company aren't careful.

This is a companion piece to 10 Things That Must Happen over the weekend. It's not quite as progressive though - it looks at everything that could go wrong, not right, at SummerSlam. Unwanted title changes, unwanted add-ons and unwanted booking tweaks are all here, and they're waiting to horrify you...
