10 WWE SummerSlam 2020 Nightmares That Could Come True

7. Raw Underground Eats Up Time

Shane McMahon
WWE

Raw Underground has been around for weeks and WWE still haven't properly explained how it's all supposed to work. Sure, it's their version of Fight Club, and it's meant to position Shane McMahon as some kind of gritty, underground kingpin, but matches/fights seem to end in the most random of ways.

Please say it won't be shoehorned onto SummerSlam. Please.

Rumours of an Underground Title seem to suggest that WWE like the concept and want to expand it. They're probs going to put it on pay-per-view at some point, but Sunday isn't the right stage. A lifeless 15-20 minutes of Dabba-Kato smashing jobbers isn't necessary, and it'll only turn the show into Raw: The SummerSlam Edition.

Basically, WWE should keep this Underground fighting ring for Monday nights. It needs to be something people can only see by tuning in to Raw, and doesn't belong anywhere else on the programming portfolio.
