10 WWE Superstar Careers Completely F****d By Injuries
4. Wade Barrett
The jurys still out on whether Wade Barretts career will ultimately be undone by injuries, but the evidence sure has been mounting for Bad News. After debuting to much fanfare as the leader of the Nexus in 2010 and getting a monster push in a feud with John Cena in the fall of the year, Barrett ended up on Smackdown in 2011 as a member of the Corre, where he became the Intercontinental Champion. After dropping the Corre and adopting the Barrett Barrage, Wade was a prominent figure on Smackdown and seemed poised for a World Title run after a feud with Randy Orton late in the year. The night after Elimination Chamber 2012, Barrett dislocated his elbow and was out of action for the first half of the year. He returned and won the Intercontinental Championship again in December. After being off television for a while due to work visa issues, Barrett returned earlier this year under the moniker Bad News Barrett. He again won the Intercontinental Championship and seemed primed for a bigger role in the company, but unfortunately, the injury bug hit again and he separated his shoulder before the Money in the Bank Pay Per View. Barrett seems ready to return to action soon, but how much faith will the WWE put in him when hes shown on two occasions that hes injury prone?
