Roman Reigns was the least over superstar in WWE history to ever main event a WrestleMania, and he's about to do it again. This time the WWE doesn't have a safety net named Seth Rollins ready to bail them out. There is a very real possibility that the largest event in WWE's history will be remembered for its conclusion which could see nearly 100,000 rejecting the outcome, turning on the event, and booing the top "babyface" and company's new flagship performer. While Roman doesn't need to go from Cody-to-Stardust, a Rocky Maivia-to-The Rock shift would do wonders for Roman Reigns and it could save whatever legacy and memories the biggest event in history, WrestleMania 32, will be remembered for. Roman's character needs to eliminate the bad comedy, do much less talking, and get much more physical than the Roman Reigns of the past 2 years; a no-nonsense, cut the shit attitude, Samoan ass-kicker. A change in ring attire and entrance music is needed, post-haste. In fact, his whole presentation should be upgraded and moved away from the perception that he's hanging onto his days with The Shield like an injury-prone 32 year-old former varsity quarterback that's still holding onto his glory days in high school. It's pathetic and that's how Roman comes across these days. Despite the egregiously obvious need to change their approach for fan support, WWE is unlikely to craft a character change for Roman Reigns anytime soon. As counterproductive as it's been, the egotistical Vince McMahon seems determined to forge ahead with Roman Reigns as John Cena 2.0 rather than working towards the real-life Joe Anoa'i's strengths. Time will tell whether or not Reigns can survive the numerous creative and booking mistakes that borders on sabotage, but WWE would be wise to help their own cause by rebooting the Roman Reigns character.
