10 WWE Superstars Who Deserve Better

1. AJ Lee

AJ Lee is far-and-away the most popular woman on the entire roster. Even though she held the Divas title for a record number of days, she seemed to be heavily demoted from her spot of a couple of years ago. At one point, AJ was featured perhaps more than any other wrestler in the company when she was the GM of Raw. Before that, she was the focal point of the romantic storyline involving Daniel Bryan, CM Punk and Kane. It was immensely entertaining, and proved that she€™s a great character that can develop a real reaction from the crowd. Unfortunately, When her run as GM ended she ran out of storylines to back her up. She became Divas champ, and basically just took on one Total Divas cast member after the next. There was no excitement, except for when she cut the excellent €œPipe Bombshell€ promo against the rest of the women€™s locker room. Of course, WWE didn€™t follow up on this. Her run with Tamina was lackluster, she began to job in virtually every non-title match and then lost the gold to Paige. It€™s reported that AJ is now taking some time off from the company. We were even deprived of her cutting a memorable promo on the way out. Hopefully her departure isn€™t too long, and hopefully WWE has some actual plans in mind for her when she does returns. Very few people on the roster receive the reaction that AJ does, and there€™s no doubt that she deserves better than what WWE has given her.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
