10 WWE Superstars Who Are Failing (But Shouldn't Be)

Why isn't Randy Orton dominating the business the way he should be?

When combing over the list of today€™s top WWE Superstars, it€™s impossible to overlook those who should be higher up on the card. Indeed, the internet is filled with hardcore pro wrestling fans who will debate for hours on end about how WWE is holding back deserving talents. The difficult pill to swallow is that WWE is not always responsible for the shortcomings of their Superstars. As much as some fans may not want to believe it, Vince McMahon probably doesn€™t sit in his office throwing darts at pictures of wrestlers that he wants to fail. Still, as much as fans may want particular wrestlers to succeed, they don€™t always. What follows is a list of eight WWE Superstars (and two Divas!) that, for all intents and purposes, should be experiencing a high degree of success but for one reason or another are floating in the cesspool of mediocrity. Feel free to leave your interesting (and creative) responses in the comments section below to let us know what you agreed with, what you disagreed with, and who you would add or subtract from the list!

10. Damien Sandow

It€™s hard to believe that the €œIntellectual Savior of the Masses€ was once €œMr. Money in the Bank.€ In July of 2013, Damien Sandow accomplished his most impressive feat to date by winning the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank briefcase, tossing his own tag team partner Cody Rhodes from a ladder en route to doing so. Unfortunately, winning that briefcase was perhaps the worst thing that could have happened to him. Since that fateful night in July of last year, Sandow has lost more matches than most folks can count. He became the second WWE Superstar in history to lose his Money in the Bank cash-in attempt (and the first to lose outright), and is now currently appearing sporadically on RAW and SmackDown! in a variety of ridiculous costumes, trying desperately to tread water. With SmackDown! experiencing its lowest relevancy in years and RAW standing alone as the only place for a wrestler to truly build credibility, Sandow is simply lost in the shuffle. With stars like Bray Wyatt, Bad News Barrett, Cesaro and the Shield dominating the mix, and the insanely over Daniel Bryan leading the pack as WWE World Heavyweight Champion, there€™s just no room for Sandow to grow. If Sandow wants to live up to his potential, and make it off of lists like this one, he needs to maximize every moment of his exposure and do something, anything, to make sure that the three minutes of TV time he€™s getting every other week are something people remember.
