Some would call it a crime to put the Diva of Tomorrow on a list like this when shes only been on the main WWE roster long enough to have a couple cups of coffee (or tea, as it were.) Still, there can be no denying that there is a stark difference between the Anti-Diva who ran roughshod over the NXT Womens Division as its first Champion (and was never defeated in the ring for the title) and the Diva of Tomorrow who upset the longest reigning Divas Champion in history, AJ Lee, and has been scrappily defending her title ever since. So what went wrong? There is a very noticeable difference between NXT crowds and RAW and SmackDown! crowds. For starters, NXT is held at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. The audience at NXT tapings is comprised of hardcore wrestling fans with a passion for the product and a desire to see womens wrestling. On the contrary, WWEs day-to-day crowds are mostly made up of casual fans. These folks dont care for Divas wrestling and the less-than-stellar reactions Paige has been receiving are an indication of that. So what can Paige do to fix this? Her best bet is to weather the storm and maximize her minutes as she did in NXT. Should Paige continue to perform the way she did in NXT, she will succeed, even if the rest of the Divas Division does not.
