10 WWE Superstars Who Are Failing (But Shouldn't Be)

5. Kofi Kingston

There€™s just something about Kofi Kingston that stalls. €œThe Wildcat€ has been exciting crowds and thrilling kids with his boundless energy and exciting in-ring style for seven years now but if there is one Superstar in WWE that epitomizes the phrase €œglass ceiling€, it€™s Kofi. In 2009, Kofi began a feud with Randy Orton and it seemed like he was heading for Main Event status. He had an exciting few weeks of drama with Orton and even defeated Orton€™s team at Survivor Series 2009, last eliminating Orton himself. But since then? He€™s nothing more than John Morrison€™s successor. He floats in between mini-rivalries that have no real bearing on anything happening in the main storylines and his last few months on TV have consisted of him having his Boom Dropper handed to him repeatedly by Rusev. Sadly, it sometimes appears as though Kofi lives for the Royal Rumble match, where he€™s more or less guaranteed a thrilling save from elimination. While he€™s only 32, Kofi€™s fans are only going to wait around for so long and he€™s rapidly approaching the €œmidcarder for life€ label. For Kingston, it will be a matter of finding the right feud with the right opponent and breaking away from the stigma of being a once-a-year spotfest.
