10 WWE Superstars Who Were Forgiven For Joining TNA

10. R-Truth

Ron Killings' initial 1999 run in WWE saw him in a very entertaining tag team with Road Dogg. The duo played very well off of each other, as their styles meshed perfectly together. Ron's smooth move-set and hip-hop gimmick set him apart from other Superstars in WWE but made him the perfect compliment to Road Dogg. Truth got quality TV time alongside the former New Age Outlaw and was even involved in something of a Degeneration-X reunion in 2000. The future definitely seemed to be bright for R-Truth. But his biggest success would not come until after he left WWE in 2002 and eventually landed in TNA. He began his TNA career as a heel and quickly began to climb the ladder. He became The Truth after cutting a race motivated promo, in which he stated his belief that skin color had prevented him from really making it in the business. Using that as a springboard, Ron took his momentum straight to the NWA World Championship. The man that had been just a tag team wrestler under Vince McMahon was now suddenly a main event star for another pro wrestling company. When Road Dogg came to TNA, Truth worked with him and Konnan to form the 3Live Kru and once again became a very entertaining star in his own right. Ron's time in TNA totaled 5 years and he fully established himself as a top talent. His WWE return in 2008 was met with very positive crowd reaction and viable storylines from the company. Truth's time outside WWE helped him evolve and grow as a performer and he lost no ground under Vince McMahon. While his career may be at somewhat of a standstill right now, there is no denying that R-Truth's time in TNA has not been held against him.
