10 WWE Superstars Guaranteed To Benefit From Seth Rollins' Absence

3. Roman Reigns

Ideally, if Roman Reigns was going to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion, it would have been next year when the fans are fully behind him again and he's got a little more experience under his belt. Unfortunately, with the company scrambling in the wake of Rollins' injury, chances are that this Samoan Superstar is going to end up leaving Survivor Series with the grandest prize of them all. The event has been somewhere Roman has frequently dominated, so that being the case in this tournament is highly likely. There was always a good chance that he was going to beat Rollins at Survivor Series anyway, so with him now out of the way, it makes the WWE's decision to pull the trigger on a main event run for Reigns a near certainty. You know what though, that's not necessarily a bad thing depending on how well WWE Creative handles his win. Roman turning heel and selling out to join The Authority could work (it would be a little out of the blue, but certainly takes the concern over the mixed reactions he receives out of the equation), while pitting him against a heel Dean Ambrose might also generate some interest in Reigns as champion. Either way, putting the title on Reigns is probably the best way to discover whether or not he'll sink or swim as champion at this point, so why not?
