10 WWE Superstars Who Need To Go Back To Developmental
7. David Otunga
David Otunga was one of the obvious stars from the very first season of NXT. He has one of the best put together physiques the WWE has ever seen, and he exudes confidence and charisma like few others. Unfortunately, his in-ring work always left a lot to be desired and while he never injured anyone, his style always looks kind of unsafe. Fans would cringe when he stepped in the ring, worrying if this would be the time he took someone out. As a personality though, hes incredibly entertaining. During John Laurinaitis highly underappreciated run as General Manager, Otunga played the role of lackey to a tee. He looked smug as anything with his bow-tie, sweater-vest and ever present coffee thermos and he could take the bumps and finishers than Big Johnny couldnt. Outside of the ring, Otunga is valuable to WWE. Hes married to Academy Award winning Jennifer Hudson, and hes an incredibly talented lawyer but he really has the talent to be a star if he can put it together and bring his in-ring skills up to par. Down in NXT, hed be forced to step up his game to survive and they could have a star on their hands if they put the work into molding him.
