2016 will be a year of much-needed huge returns, but none will compare to that of The Rock. It's been almost three years since The People's Champion last competed in a WWE ring, with filming commitments keeping him away from the sport. This year, though, The Rock will wrestle once more, using his cachet to add to the draw of the grandest WrestleMania of all time. The Rock's opponent is rumored to be longtime rival Triple H, with whom he's never clashed one on one at the show of shows. Though the bout may not appeal to fans who would rather see The Rock work with a full-time talent (or those who want to see a rematch with Brock Lesnar), it will go a long way toward drawing in lapsed fans and raising the number of subscribers to the WWE Network - and the presence of one of the world's most famous celebrities on Raw won't hurt the show's ratings, either. WWE is determined to pull out all the stops leading into WrestleMania XXXII, and nobody is more important to the company than The Rock. His return will be one of the top stories of 2016, and he'll electrify fans just as he always has.
