10 WWE Superstars Returning In 2017

5. Drew Galloway

It’s impossible to say what TNA will look like in a year. They may be stronger than they have been in years, and locked up all of their top names, or they may continue with business as usual and keep dishing out short-term contracts where the wrestlers aren’t even exclusive to the company.

If that’s the case, then it would be wise for WWE to give Drew Galloway another look and bring him back into the fold when available. The company is absolutely starving for babyfaces that connect with the crowd, and he's shown he's been able to do that in TNA, as well as other independent promotions around the world.

Galloway is only 31 years old, and still has a lot of unfinished business in WWE. He deserves another chance to live up to the massive hype that preceded him, and at this point in his career, he’s finally ready for that role.

With Vince McMahon having much deeper pockets than TNA, even with The Fight Network in control, Drew can likely be theirs for the taking at some point in 2017.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
