10 WWE Superstars That TNA Unsuccessfully Tried To Sign
5. Carlito
Another Superstar who, despite no concreate evidence of an approach, has been linked with an offer from TNA in the past is Carlito.
The Puerto Rican had a relatively decorated stint in the WWE, winning three tag titles as well as Intercontinental and United States gold. But he seems very averse to adding any TNA accolades to that hall. Regarding a move to the company, he wrote on Twitter: “I don’t know why I haven’t gone there. They just haven’t inspired me. Now can we please stop asking me that too?”
Again, there’s no discernible evidence of TNA making a formal offer, but the perceived exasperation in Carlito’s Tweet suggests that this is a topic that has been broached more than once before.
Rather than follow in the footsteps of various former colleagues, Carlito is instead choosing to spend his days competing in his homeland with the World Wrestling Council—the organisation owned by his father, Carlos Colon Sr.
