The first woman to appear on the list, Sasha Banks, would've definitely been a star in the heyday of Hulkamania, even if she never stepped foot in the ring.

Longtime WWE fans will remember that the women's division, or lady wrestlers as they were called back then, was a big part of the WWF's success in partnering with MTV for the Rock-'n'-Wrestling Connection. Pop star Cyndi Lauper supported Wendi Richter in her quest to capture the WWF Women's Championship from longtime champ and women's wrestling dynasty, The Fabulous Moolah - and the title remained an active part of the promotion until 1990 when it was quietly retired.

Despite the delinquent status of the WWF's Women's Championship, the company still featured several female performers in very high profile positions. Female were still seen regularly on WWF television through the likes of Sensational Sherri, Miss Elizabeth, Sapphire, and even ring announcer Mike McGuirk.

Sasha would've fit right in with this time period thanks to her presence, colorful persona, and the ability to get downright nasty. Plus, her in-ring background wouldn't hurt.
