10 WWE Superstars That Would've Thrived In The Hulkamania Era

8. Sheamus

Let's look at some of the prerequisites of many Hulkamania era WWE superstars, specifically from the heel locker room, and how they compare to the former three-time WWE Champion, Sheamus.

Foreign? Check. Big bodied, impressive physique? Check. Methodical, physical in-ring style? Check. Unique look that can be ridiculed by babyfaces? Check.

There's more to being a good heel that just the above, but you get the point. Sheamus would've made for a great Hulkamania heel, and could've joined The Iron Sheik, Sgt. Slaughter, and Yokozuna as foreign heels with whom Hogan feuded.

Billed as 6'4" tall and 267 lbs, Sheamus wouldn't have had a problem holding a roster spot based on his physical stature alone. His bright red hair and milk-white complexion would also have helped the Irishman stand out, but back in the 80s, Sheamus would've certainly been given a heel manager. Whether it was Jimmy Hart, Bobby Heenan, or even Slick, the manager would've likely served as Sheamus' mouthpiece.

If he were to retire tomorrow, Sheamus would likely be considered a future Hall of Famer - but it's possible he could've been even bigger, had he competed for WWE some 25 years ago.
