10 WWE Superstars Who Are Totally Underutilised

7. Cody Rhodes

WWE.comWWE.comYet another name in the list of WWE€™s near-limitless supply of young, talented wrestlers, Cody is a second-generation star with bags of charisma and a flashy, entertaining moveset. Being the son of the legendary Dusty Rhodes, as well as the half brother of Dustin Rhodes (AKA Goldust - and a brilliant performer in his own right) big things were expected of Cody from the word €˜go€™. So far, he hasn€™t quite been able to deliver. It seems as if WWE was, at one time, willing to push the lad to the moon, based on his famous name, good looks and cocky heel persona, but they clearly found him just that little bit too inexperienced. Now, however, Cody is starting to look very good indeed. His recent adoption of the €˜Stardust€™ character is an interesting change for Cody and a timely one, but if it outstays its welcome, then Cody may find himself too far adrift from the main event scene to ever battle his way back...

I am a professional author and lifelong comic books/pro wrestling fan. I also work as a journalist as well as writing comic books (I also draw), screenplays, stage plays, songs and prose fiction. I don't generally read or reply to comments here on What Culture (too many trolls!), but if you follow my Twitter (@heyquicksilver), I'll talk to you all day long! If you are interested in reading more of my stuff, you can find it on http://quicksilverstories.weebly.com/ (my personal site, which has other wrestling/comics/pop culture stuff on it). I also write for FLiCK http://www.flickonline.co.uk/flicktion, which is the best place to read my fiction work. Oh yeah - I'm about to become a Dad for the first time, so if my stuff seems more sentimental than usual - blame it on that! Finally, I sincerely appreciate every single read I get. So if you're reading this, thank you, you've made me feel like Shakespeare for a day! (see what I mean?) Latcho Drom, - CQ
