9. The Undertaker

Scratch beneath the surface of The Undertaker's return, making sure to ignore the illogical comeback of a character fans were told was finished just last year, and it's actually quite a nice story.

Against Roman Reigns in Orlando at 'Mania 33, 'Taker looked like he'd had enough of lengthy matches or WWE's expectations that he wrestle like it was 1997 again. Flattening John Cena in less than three minutes (after failing to appear once during the build) wasn't ideal, but it must have been a cathartic experience for the legend.

The Undertaker will be buoyed by knowing WWE's expectations have lessened, and that they're willing to book shorter matches which allow him to appear as a special attraction without nearly killing himself. 'Taker, even if some were left disappointed he didn't reprise the biker gimmick (though quite who is anybody's guess), is now back in the saddle.

There's no reason why this format can't lengthen The Undertaker's career without sacrificing his health or diluting his appeal.
