10 WWE Superstars Who Could Benefit From A Great Feud With The Fiend
4. New Day
With Big E staying on SmackDown, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods can go through a crisis of confidence leading into this one. After losing the tag titles by the end of the year, they hit a slump that culminates in a Firefly Funhouse promo from Bray. He spends the next few weeks trying to play on the fact that the pair are weak without the muscle of Big E backing them up.
The interactions between The Fiend and Woods would be especially interesting given how wonderfully Woods has sold his fear of Wyatt in the past, and a two-on-one handicap match is a fresh way to go with this character. The stipulation would offer the chance for New Day to tease a shock victory with their tag-team expertise while getting Wyatt over as the destroyer that he should be.
New Day can emerge as different competitors following this feud. The pancakes and Booty-Os are beginning to wear thin, and when they get serious they have amazing intensity. They don't even need to turn heel; the Fiend match can actually be a turning point to return them to the top of the mountain by dropping the antics in favour of straight focus and desire.
