10 WWE Superstars Who Could Benefit From A Great Feud With The Fiend
3. AJ Styles
This one benefits both parties in a big way. The Fiend's best pay-per-view outing so far in his run has definitely been against Daniel Bryan, despite being saddled with that strap stipulation. The big guy/little guy, David and Goliath trope has been used across all forms of entertainment since the beginning of time for a reason: it works.
Wyatt brings the character work like nobody else on the roster today but Styles can carry the load in the squared circle. Following his Undertaker WrestleMania defeat, as well as losing his Intercontinental title and subsequent rematch, Styles could then undergo a tonal shift of his own following another loss at the hands of Wyatt.
Instead of taking him down the dark and gloomy alleyway that most would expect, Styles could flip the other way. The Phenomenal One's comedic timing and humour go unnoticed in WWE quite often. Seeing him morph into someone more like the Bray Wyatt character, rather than The Fiend, would be something both unexpected and effective. Putting him in a sweater vest might be a little too on-the-nose, but the cocky, friendly, delusional vibe is vintage Styles turned up to a dangerous 11.
