6. Kofi Kingston
Anyone who saw 2015 WWE Network special Beast In The East will remember the ease with which Lesnar ragdolled Kofi Kingston around the ring.
The Ghanaian superstar’s speed and agility wasn’t enough escape ‘The Beast’s’ clutches. Nor was Lesnar troubled by interference from Big E and Xavier Woods. The whole thing was over quickly, the entire New Day unable to prolong Lesnar’s contribution to a pay-per-view named in his honour.
Kofi, taking an F5 to oblivion, hardly looked like a worthy adversary for ‘The Beast Incarnate.’ That was 2015 though. The Kofi Kingston of 2019 is a different proposition.
This version of Kingston has lost none of his earlier speed or ability but has gained maturity, heart and grit. His heroics in various gauntlets this year proved he can survive an onslaught. To stand any chance against Brock he’ll need to do it again.
Of course, Kofi is currently riding high on SmackDown as WWE Champion. Perhaps WWE will hold on to this match to headline Survivor Series’ brand warfare. That’s if the brand split is even nominally a thing by then of course.
