10 WWE Superstars Who Desperately Need A Character Change In 2015

10. Justin Gabriel

As an excellent high-flyer, Justin Gabriel should be a real asset to the WWE. He's from South Africa, which gives him international appeal, and his ring work is consistently impressive. Despite his skill between the ropes, Gabriel has failed to find the right gimmick during his time with the company. It is for this reason that he hasn't held championship gold since the end of the Nexus angle and his partnership with Heath Slater. Gabriel doesn't have an identity other than being a daredevil babyface, which doesn't give him much of a way to connect with the audience. It is for this reason that he needs to be repackaged with a more interesting gimmick. John Morrison got a fair amount of mileage from being a parkour specialist, so WWE could push the extreme sports side of Gabriel's personality in a similar way with a series of vignettes. He briefly worked as a heel alongside Tyson Kidd in NXT, which showed an interesting edge to his character. That could also be a route for WWE to go down if they choose to revitalise Justin Gabriel as one of their stars of the future.
