10 WWE Superstars Who Desperately Need A Character Change In 2015
9. Titus O'Neil
Titus O'Neil is one of the most physically imposing performers on the WWE roster. His strength is genuinely remarkable and he boasts a series of impressive power-based moves, including his finisher 'Clash of the Titus' - a gorgeous sitout spinebuster. He also has his share of charisma on the mic as an arrogant heel, which he got the chance to do in his recent spell down in NXT. O'Neil has been used weirdly since the split of the Prime Time Players and his heel turn. His recent turn as Heath Slater's comedy tag team partner has not lived up to its initial potential. There's only so far a team can get when they are accompanied to the ring by Hornswoggle in an alligator costume. The time is right for O'Neil to take his character in a different direction. With Heath Slater facing legal troubles, it seems that the Slater Gator pairing is at an end, which presents the perfect opportunity for WWE Creative to repackage O'Neil as a dominant, powerful heel. He could return with a new attitude, arrogantly squashing jobbers as he works his way up to the top of the midcard. Ryback got over again as a believable threat after a jobber period just by taking a period of time off. There's no reason O'Neil couldn't achieve a lesser version of the same thing if his character is smartly altered and takes some time away from the screen.
