10 WWE Superstars Who Desperately Need A Character Change In 2015
7. Bo Dallas
Bo Dallas has been written off TV since November, as a result of a foot injury. Whether his time away is a result of injury or a work, this provides plenty of room for WWE to work on Dallas' character. He hasn't really had anywhere to go since his potentially intriguing undefeated streak storyline met a sticky end at the hands of R-Truth, for no reason at all. The star's current gimmick - a delusional motivational speaker - worked incredibly well down in NXT, but after an initial flurry of success, he has failed to get over with the main roster fans. His flamboyant gimmick seems out of place in the modern WWE landscape, which is a largely gimmick-light zone, with a few notable exceptions lower down the card. Dallas is a talented in-ring worker with a great flair for insincerity and aggression. His failure is not the result of his work, but is due to his over-egged gimmick and a lack of direction in his booking. There was real potential in his undefeated streak and the announcers were putting it over every week, but it ultimately went nowhere. It's difficult for a new star to recover from losing to someone in such a position as R-Truth. Dallas should return with new aggression. He should still urge the audience to "Bolieve", but he could showcase real anger and violence towards those who refuse to follow his ethos.
