10 WWE Superstars Who Didn't Debut As Wrestlers

9. Cody Rhodes

First Appearance: 31 March 2007

Official Debut: 7 July 2007

Want to feel old? Cody Rhodes was on WWE television for nine years, long enough ago that he was able to form a tag team with Bob Holly and win the World Tag Team Championships from Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch. Doesn't it feel wrong to imagine Cody debuting when Chris Masters and Candice Michelle were still around?

But Cody first appeared on WWE programming even before that, looking all of 12 years old as he inducted Dusty Rhodes into the Hall of Fame alongside a paunchier-than-you're-accustomed-to Goldust. Amazingly, Cody had already been competing in OVW since June of 2006, as part of a tag team with Shawn Spears, better known today as Tye Dillinger.
