10 WWE Superstars Who Don't Dress The Part

1. Dean Ambrose

When Dean Ambrose joined the main roster as the leader of The Shield, he more than fit the role. He flaunted the dark pants, vests, and straps to represent the military style of the group. And unlike Roman Reigns, once the trio disbanded in 2014, he disposed of any ring gear redolent of their days together.

The focus of Ambrose as a loudmouth leader switched to that of a madman. However, the new look hardly played into the Lunatic Fringe character. Instead, all the black protective gear was traded for denim jeans and a stained T-shirt, which were better suited for The Brooklyn Brawler than someone who was off-the-rails and uncontrollable. The only way his current look favored part of his background was by making him look like he belonged in the hardcore division. Of course, the hardcore division was retired nearly a decade ago, and he rarely ever utilizes foreign objects these days.

Ambrose certainly doesn’t need to make an entrance wearing a straightjacket (although he could probably get it over) but he could use a remodel.

Something as simple as tattered and mismatched outfits could speak volumes to his loose cannon ways.
