10 WWE Superstars Who Don't Dress The Part

2. TJP

When his entrance hits, the WWE Universe flashes back to the days of the original Nintendo Entertainment System. His video on the Tron flashes through memorable moments in his career comparable to montages in vintage combat games. Underneath the colorful strobes and lighting, a young man appears in loud outfits similar to those of comic book heroes.

But who continues down the ramp to the ring is completely different. Sure TJ Perkins—or simply TJP now that Vince has an issue remembering names—is vibrant in the ring and showcases a captivating move set, but his character is far from the gamer or comic hero he appears to be.

Even after his heel turn, TJP still dresses the part of a superhero and not a villain. Perkins doesn’t necessarily need to act the part of some kind of larger-than-life champion to match his outfit. He could simply change his appearance, if there is no intention to relate to his apparel and overall presentation.
