10 WWE Superstars Who Gambled On A Brand New Finisher
9. Dolph Ziggler
"Gamble" being more pointed here than perhaps any other entry on this list, Dolph Ziggler's attempt to bring the sleeper back as a match-winner in 2011 at least made the best of his unique ability to make his limbs flail and set sail from the rest of his body.
A manic bumping machine in his early years (before finally toning it down a bit long after the point he was ever going to get pushed for it), Ziggler moved away from his Zig-Zag a bit to try and get the old hold over as a brand new killer.
Ultimately, it only really served as the scourge of the common or garden midcarder - Ziggler wasn't able to convince a genuine headliner to submit or pass out in the hold even if some of the usual losers took the hit. 'The Show Off' then looked sillier as a result - the struggle was real, but only from the moron attempting to win the match rather than the person allegedly suffering it.
