4. Triple H Cuts His Long Hair

"Dress for the job you want, not for the job you have," so sayeth the maxim.

After his faux-retirement at SummerSlam 2012, Triple H, by this time firmly entrenched in the corporate sphere having taken a sledgehammer to John Laurinaitis' FCW, put the angle over by cutting off his trademark Thor locks. The initial results were...hilarious; if H was dressing for the job he desired, it seems he wished to travel back in time to 1987 and work for Goldman Sachs on Wall Street. The slicked-back cut had a certain Patrick Bateman quality to it, and the comparisons don't end there.

Triple H is into murders and executions, looking at the absolute state of the British independent scene. The work of the Independent stars he recruits is a little too new wave for his tastes, and so he as a producer makes melodramatic shock-faces compulsory. And, with Cody securing a huge TV deal for AEW, he brought the ax down by counter-programming it with NXT.

"Try getting another reservation with TNT now, you f*cking stupid bastard!"

Sadly, for those fond of schadenfreude, Triple H soon realised the error and adopted a shaven-headed look that really rather suited him.
