Remember when Alundra Blayze left WWF for WCW and took the Women's Championship with her? And then how she put that title in the bin live on Nitro? Yeah, Jeff Jarrett could have done the same with the Intercontinental Championship in 1999.

Imagine that! The mid-90s women's scene in WWF was anything but glorious yet Blayze's actions still shook the wrestling world its core. Imagine if the company's secondary title would have been on the opposition's show... that would have been a disaster.

Double J was scheduled to take on Chyna at No Mercy 1999 with the IC Title on the line in a Good Housekeeping match. His contract had expired the week before the match and he informed the company he wouldn't be re-signing. That meant he wasn't under contract and was within his rights to leave with the title with him.

Because of this, JJ grabbed Vince by the short and curlys and demanded a hefty sum of money to not only put over Chyna, but to pull another Blayze...

Jim Ross, the Head of Talent Relations at the time, neglected the Intercontinental Championship and cost Vince McMahon a lot of money for it. This is something Vince never forgave Good Ol' JR for.

Vince caved in and awarded the future WCW Champion $200,000 for his troubles.
