The Hardy Boyz have made a career out of putting it all on the line and living life on the edge.

However, they've both unquestionably paid the price for their daredevil antics.

We've already mentioned how Matt's lower back was in tatters due to his Leg Drop, now it's time to shine a light on Jeff's use of the Swanton Bomb.

Speaking to CantonRep.com in 2018, Hardy admitted that "the toll has been rough at times", when speaking about his signature top rope finisher.

Hardy clearly made a rod for his own back (almost literally) when he decided that the brutal Swanton would be his way of concluding a match and it looks like he's started to resent the lingering effects the move has had on his body.

He added in that interview, "Lately, my lower back has really been bothering me to the point where I haven’t been doing the Swanton as much in the live events just to protect it."

It's wise for Hardy to save the move for the big occasion from here on out, as if he continues to flip off ladders onto unforgiving objects throughout his 40s he may be forced to hang up his boots sooner than he'd have hoped.
