10 WWE Superstars Who Hated Their Own Moves
4. Jon Moxley/Dean Ambrose - Dirty Deeds
Jon Moxley has altered his finisher a couple of times over the years due to varying reasons.
His most recent change-up was part of a complete identity shift in the wake of leaving WWE, adapting the Dirty Deeds DDT into the more dynamic Death Rider/Paradigm Shift. Moxley clearly despised everything he'd become in WWE towards the end of his time there and successfully distanced himself from his past with this new brutal take on the move.
Before this, however, Moxley felt the need to leave another finisher behind as he grew tired of how stupid he looked when trying to perform it on his bigger rivals.
After using his Headlock Driver throughout his early days on the WWE main roster, Moxley told Fightful, "I think I gave it to Randy Orton one time, who is someone with a significant height advantage on me, it just was awkward."
Ambrose quickly dropped the move and adopted the double armed snap DDT which later became known as the new version of the Dirty Deeds.
This change definitely worked for Ambrose and Dirty Deeds was a simple and effective finisher for the remainder of his time on the roster. However, his current Death Rider/Paradigm Shift has taken his offence to another level since departing WWE.
