10 WWE Superstars Who Should Be In Money In The Bank (But Aren't)

7. Eric Young

If Eric Young could ever be called steady, it was only as a fixture of the NXT brand where he led his group Sanity to countless wins and championship opportunities there. While it was announced that the group and EY would be joining the SmackDown brand, they have yet to make an official debut on the show. Still, Eric Young is one of the most consistently terrifying opponents anyone could potentially face in the WWE.

Money in the Bank would have been a quick and surefire way to establish the former TNA World Champion on WWE programming, and the ever-violent ladder match would have been like a warm bed to Eric Young. Further, it would have been interesting to see the bearded superstar mix it up with his former longtime friend and rival, Bobby Roode. Roode was able to earn his way into the ladder match by defeating both Baron Corbin and the aforementioned No Way Jose.

Surely, if he’d been given the chance, Young would have felled whoever stood before him on his path to that briefcase -- including Roode, if needed. However, EY and the rest of Sanity will seemingly have to wait for their day in the sun as Money in the Bank will pass them by.
