If there was ever an athlete who was a natural between the ropes, it was Shelton Benjamin. The former Golden Gopher was one of the most talented wrestlers during his run with WWE, but his lack of charisma and a gimmick that connected with fans kept him in the mid-card scene for his entire run. Benjamin was brought in as part of Team Angle with Charlie Haas, and the two made up one of the more exciting tag teams in the division.
