10 WWE Superstars Who Should Have Been Pushed Harder

8. John Morrison

John Morrison found a lot of success during his time with WWE, but he never won the big one. He came close during his feud with The Miz, but every time it looked like he would finally ascend to that next level, the rug would get swept out from under him. Morrison had it all when it comes to being a wrestler. He had an enviable physique, the right look and the charisma to have an exchange with someone like John Cena and stand his ground. It seemed like it was inevitable that Morrison would become WWE champion, but he ended up leaving when his contract expired in 2011. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGHB3bnzkZs This is one of those rare cases when the wrestler chose to leave before he became a main event player, but WWE definitely had enough time to make it happen before he decided to explore other opportunities. Morrison wrestled for WWE for around eight years, so it all comes down to management dragging their feet. Morrison has a new home in Lucha Underground, and he will likely be booked as a top star there, but he could have been a big fish in a much bigger pond had he stayed with WWE.
