10 WWE Superstars Who Should Have Been Pushed Harder

3. Justin Gabriel

The recently released Justin Gabriel is the most current example of WWE not knowing how to properly use someone who isn't a powerhouse. Gabriel had wrestling chops and some amazing skills on the top rope, but after his time with The Nexus and The Corre, he was basically left out to dry. Every so often, Gabriel would pick up a surprising win, but it would never lead anywhere. He wasn't even taken seriously when he wrestled in the revamped NXT. He was basically a glorified jobber who had a sick 450 Splash and a good look. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87MQvQxMW-8 Reports indicate that Gabriel got fed up with constantly being overlooked by management and asked for his release once he found out he had been bumped from this year's Royal Rumble. It's understandable that someone with his level of skill would be sick of sitting on the sidelines. Let's all hope he finds new life with a promotion that has a TV deal, because Gabriel is someone who can steal the show with the right opponent on any given night.
