10 WWE Superstars Who Should Make Appearances In The MCU

8. John Cena

Love him or hate him, John Cena seems determined to carve out a comfortable future in Hollywood.

Although he's been making infrequent appearances in WWE, it's clear that his focus over the last few years has been working on his acting chops. Can anyone blame him for following in the footsteps of The Rock or Hulk Hogan?

John Cena is not the largest name in pro wrestling history but he's certainly close to the top. With Bautista's success in Guardians of the Galaxy, it's surprising that it's taken this long for Cena to make his way into a major superhero movie.

Thankfully, he'll get his first crack at the genre in The Suicide Squad. Given the DCEU's history and seemingly convoluted future, there's a chance Cena's presence is shortlived. Depending on his performance in The Suicide Squad (and possible death) he may be a good inclusion into the MCU...especially if James Gunn has any say moving forward.

It's not a far off bet to see Cena pop up in Guardians of the Galaxy 3 in some capacity. If Marvel want to steal a heavy hitter from DC, they should have Gunn give Cena a ring ASAP.

Nick Dauk hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
