10 WWE Superstars Who Will Never Be World Champion Again

5. The Rock

When The Rock came back to WWE in 2011 for his brace of matches against John Cena, the writing was always on the wall for the Great One to have one last run as the WWE Champion. Whilst his rematch against Cena at WrestleMania 29 in New Jersey was frustrating, mediocre and underwhelming to say the least, it managed to draw a million PPV buys which, considering it was a rematch of a match billed to only occur once, was fairly impressive. With The Rock's super-stardom in Hollywood at an all-time high, all but the odd WrestleMania match or two for Dwayne is now off the table. One would assume he'll eventually wrestle his final match against a Lesnar or maybe Roman Reigns but that's all that remains for Rock's wrestling career.
