10 WWE Superstars Who Would Flourish In Lucha Underground

Zack Ryder is clearly more passionate about WWE than just about anyone else on the roster, because otherwise, he likely would have high-tailed it out of there years ago.

Aside from a short-lived run as Intercontinental champion, Ryder has essentially served as a stepping stone for up-and-coming talent since his push was cut short at the onset of 2012. Even at this stage of his career (he recently celebrated ten years on WWE's main roster), the Long Island native is still a skilled competitor who has no trouble getting crowds behind him.

Perhaps it would be in his best interest to not be so content with wrestling undercard acts on Main Event and take his talent to a place where he'd be better appreciated, such as Lucha Underground. As noted earlier, PJ Black left WWE on his own term in 2015 after floundering for years and has had an insanely fun run in The Temple as a former Trios champion.

It isn't too late for Ryder to make something of himself too and get to that next level of super stardom where he belongs.
