10 WWE Superstars Whose Careers Were Shortened By TLC

8. Seth Rollins

A bit of a different twist on out countdown as we take a look at a superstar who is in real danger of having his career shortened by too many TLCs. First, let's go back to TLC 2012 and the highlight of the night. Rollins was running scared from Ryback when he found himself trapped at the top of the biggest ladder ever seen in WWE history. The 'Big Guy' ascended the ladder after his rival and sent him falling through a number of tables conveniently placed at the foot of the ladder. This mega-bump took place during The Shield's in-ring debut against Ryback, Kane and Daniel Bryan. Rollins' bump up at the entrance way paved the way for his partners to grab a debut win by power-bombing Bryan through a table. Rollins is part of this Sunday's main event as he faces John Cena in another TLC match with Cena's number one contenders spot up for grabs. You feel if he takes many more bumps the magnitude of the one we saw two years ago, his rise to the top of the card might be halted by injury.
WWE need to be careful with superstars like Rollins. He is the type of guy who is looking to make an impression. He is pulling out all the stops to earn a prolonged stay in the main event slots, the company don't want to be risking that longevity in these types of matches.
